What is NDIS Provider?
NDIS providers are community organisations or individuals who deliver disability support to NDIS participants. Service providers must be registered under the NDIS and meet specific government requirements to legally deliver support.
What is Plan Management?
Plan management in the context of NDIS Australia refers to the efficient handling of financial responsibilities related to your NDIS Plan. As a plan manager, our role entails overseeing the payment process for your service providers on your behalf. When you avail yourself of a service, the service provider directly sends the invoice to us, and we diligently organize the necessary steps to ensure that the NDIS promptly pays for the services rendered.

What is Support Coordination?
- 1. Support connection – This support is to build your ability to connect with informal, community and funded supports enabling you to get the most out of your plan and pursue your goals.
- 2. Support coordination – coordination of supports: This support will assist you to build the skills you need to understand and use your plan. A support coordinator will work with you to ensure a mix of supports are used to increase your capacity to maintain relationships, manage service delivery tasks, live more independently and be included in your community.
- 3. Specialist support coordination – This is a higher level of support coordination. It is for people whose situations are more complex and who need specialist support. A specialist Support Coordinator will assist you to manage challenges in your support environment and ensuring consistent delivery of service.
What is Recovery Coach?
Generally, recovery coach will be funded in plans for people with psychosocial support needs. A recovery coach is an NDIS funded worker that has mental health knowledge. A recovery coach can:
- 1. Spend time with you, and people important to you, to get to know you and understand your needs
- 2. Help you to find out about different services and supports, and how these can help you
- 3. Help you get support from mental health services
- 4. Help you better understand the NDIS and support you with the NDIS
Can I have both?
For most people we recommend that you only have a recovery coach because it is a better use of your NDIS plan. Depending on your plan or situation you may choose to have both.
You do not have to choose a recovery coach if you do not want one.

NPDS offers a range of home and living support options to assist you to live as independently as possible, depending on your needs and the package the NDIS has provided you. We support you to build your skills with things like household tasks and personal care and can provide 24hr or drop-in support as you need.

NPDS aids with, or supervision of, personal tasks of daily life, such as showering, dressing, and grooming, and supports you to develop the skills you need to live as autonomously as possible. Our compassionate team members are dedicated to helping you maintain your independence and dignity.
How does National Premier Disability Services Pty Ltd assist with NDIS-funded household tasks?
NPDS assists with NDIS-funded household tasks, including cleaning, cooking, and laundry, to ensure your home environment is safe and comfortable, allowing you to focus on other essential aspects of your life.
NPDS can also assist you to identify and access the right NDIS assistive products for household tasks to enhance your independence at home. These might include items that help you perform daily activities more efficiently, such as modified utensils, cleaning tools, and adaptive technology.
